The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will launch the 3030 Eklavya Online Series from 15 August 2026. CBSE is organising the series with the Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) at IIT Gandhinagar.
The programme will help teachers and students understand Computational Thinking (CT). It will also cover Artificial Intelligence (AI) and STEM through practical and concept-based learning activities.
What is the 3030 Eklavya Online Series?
CBSE has developed a Curriculum Framework for Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence for Classes 3 to 8. The framework aims to help learners become AI-ready.
The curriculum focuses on important skills such as logical thinking and problem-solving. It also helps students understand pattern recognition and the role of AI in everyday life.
CBSE has also selected Computational Thinking and Understanding Artificial Intelligence as the training theme for the 2026-27 academic session.
Who can join the 3030 Eklavya programme?
The programme is open to teachers and students of Class 6 and above.
The programme is voluntary. However registration is compulsory for those who want to participate.

When will the 3030 Eklavya sessions start?
- The first episode will take place on 15 August 2026 at 4 PM.
- The first episode is titled Computational Thinking and AI with Matchboxes.
- The remaining episodes will take place every Sunday from 4 PM onwards.
What will students and teachers learn?
- The online series will focus on the conceptual understanding and practical application of Computational Thinking.
- It will also cover Artificial Intelligence and STEM.
- The programme will use inquiry-based activities to support learning. It will also promote critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
How can students and teachers register?
- Registration for the programme is free.
- Students and teachers must complete registration to take part in the programme.

Will CBSE teachers receive CPD hours?
Yes. Teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools can receive 3 CPD hours per episode under school-based training. Teachers must earn the required certificate. Their names must also be included in the CCL IIT Gandhinagar database.

The programme offers two types of certificates.
